AT&T DIRECTV Will Be 'Election HQ'

Just in time for the election, AT&T DIRECTV (AT&T is No. 4 on the Fair360, formerly DiversityInc Top 50 Companies list) will be “Election HQ” for viewers. They can get quick and easy access to real time results (from the Associated Press) and TV news coverage of the historic 2016 presidential election.


A special Mix channel pulls the news together, so you have a full view of what’s going on. And you can get additional information as you watch through an interactive experience featuring live election results for the presidential race as well as Senate and House contests and key ballot initiatives.

Tune to DIRECTV channel 347 to watch a 4-screens-in-1 Mix channel during 3 days of election coverage. On election night (Nov. 8), DIRECTV will expand its Mix channel to include 6-screens-in-1 for full coverage. (The Mix will be in HD only.)

The DIRECTV Election HQ Mix channel and Interactive Experience will be available Nov. 7-9.

The 4-channel mix (channel 347) will include:

– BBC World News

– CNN

– FOX News Channel

– MSNBC

The 6-channel mix (channel 347) on Nov. 8 only – will include:

– BBC World News

– Bloomberg

– CNN

– Comedy Central

– FOX News Channel

– MSNBC

Viewers can access the Election HQ Interactive Experience by:

– Clicking the red button on their remote while tuned to the Election HQ Mix;

– Visiting the apps menu;

– Clicking on a programming guide banner or icon on any one of the channels that are part of the Mix;

– Tuning to channel 347.
