From The Company

We’re deeply committed to growing the diversity of our talent and building a culture of belonging where everyone can thrive. We leverage our expertise and resources to build stronger, more inclusive teams and communities. In 2022, we:

  • Eliminated overdraft and non-sufficient funds fees for consumer banking customers.
  • Established a new Business Resource Group, &family, focused on associates’ caregiver needs.
  • Welcomed back DEI experts Dr. Johnnetta Cole and Howard Ross to discuss the lasting effects of the racial reckoning that unfolded in 2020.
  • Launched the Supplier Diversity Summit, a forum for education and networking.
  • Increased diverse supplier spend by $280 million to a total of $984 million spent (13.9% of procurable spend).
  • Hosted the inaugural Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs) Presidents’ Roundtable, engaging with leaders and deepening relationships to grow our presence at HBCUs and HSIs.
  • Unveiled Delaware State University (DSU) Riverfront, a $4.7 million facility donated to DSU, displaying the critical role public-private partnerships play in strengthening HBCU infrastructure and expanding graduates’ career pathways.
