Advances in and Limitations of Unconscious Bias Training

Dr. Valerie Purdie-Greenaway is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at Columbia University. She serves as Director for her research lab, the Laboratory of Intergroup Relations and the Social Mind (LIRSM). Dr. Purdie-Greenaway’s research seeks to understand how inequality and exclusion affects performance, motivation, sense of belonging and ultimately opportunities to advance in schools and workplaces.
