ADP Shares 6 Ways to Celebrate Women’s History Month at Work

ADP ranked No. 14 on The Fair360, formerly DiversityInc Top 50 Companies for Diversity list in 2022.

March is Women’s History Month, and ADP has shared six ways to pay tribute to the contributions women have made throughout history.

1. Hold Lunch and Learns

Consider holding informational sessions during lunch breaks to highlight influential women and their contributions to society throughout history. Sessions can be informal and conversation-based or accompanied by a presentation.

2. Implement Employee Recognition

Show your appreciation for the women in your organization who go above and beyond. Recognition can include a yearly award, dedicated social media posts or company newsletters.

3. Use Online Resources

Help educate your organization with the use of easily accessible online resources. The Natural Women’s History Museum has multiple exhibitions available online, including “Standing up for Change: African American Women and the Civil Rights Movement.”

4. Hold a Book Club

Recognize the stories told by and featuring women through a book club, which can help spark meaningful conversations about the challenges that women face.

5. Encourage Community

Encourage contributions from employees by allowing them to share stories of inspiring women in their lives, whether outside of work or within the workplace. This can help foster deeper connections among employees.

6. Start an ERG

Start an employee resource group (ERG), also referred to as a business resource group (BRG). These groups provide resources, community and networking opportunities for those involved, as well as the company as a whole.
