ADP Buys Entire Sales Fleet from Minority-Owned Dealerships

In keeping with its goal to increase engagement with certified diverse suppliers, all of the vehicles used by ADP’s sales team, a total of 357, were purchased from minority-owned dealerships in 2016.

ADP is No. 21 on the 2016 Fair360, formerly DiversityInc Top 50 Companies for Diversity.

“We want to promote and encourage the use of traditionally underutilized categories of companies owned by lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT), women, minorities, veterans and individuals with disabilities,” said Paula Frank, ADP’s director of supplier diversity, in a statement. “Top-performing diverse companies often foster innovation, help realize cost savings and are nimble enough to support ADP’s changing landscape.”

Michael Bieger, senior director, global fleet management, who partnered with Frank to identify opportunities for diverse partners, added: “Purchases like these not only support ADP’s diverse partners but also benefits our key clients through second-tier diverse spend reporting.”

Supplier diversity is one of the components used to determine the Fair360, formerly DiversityInc Top 50 Companies for Diversity, a recognition ADP has earned for seven consecutive years.
