Accenture (NYSE: ACN) has been named a Leader in next-generation IT infrastructure services for banking and financial services (BFS), including capital markets, and insurance in two reports from industry analyst firm Everest Group.

Everest Group analyzed 17 leading IT service providers on its “Next-Generation IT Infrastructure Services in BFS PEAK Matrix™ Assessment 2019” report and 16 IT service providers for its “Next-Generation IT Infrastructure Services in Insurance PEAK Matrix™ Assessment 2019” report. In both reports, Accenture has been positioned as a Leader for Market Impact, which ranks service providers against criteria such as market adoption, portfolio mix and value to clients; and for Vision & Capability, which includes measures such as strategy, service scope, innovation & investments, and delivery footprint.

In these reports, Everest Group has analyzed service providers on several aspects of next-generation IT infrastructure services including digital workplace services, cloud enablement services, and implementation of digital technologies such as intelligent automation, big data, blockchain, machine learning, and Software Defined Infrastructure (SDI) to deliver infrastructure services to BFS and insurance firms.

“We are thrilled with this recognition from Everest Group around Accenture’s leading capabilities in helping financial services providers make bold IT infrastructure bets and implement next-generation technology across their organizations — whether migrating key applications to the cloud or supporting innovations in blockchain, machine learning and other digital technologies.” said Steve Murphy, senior managing director for Accenture Technology in financial services.  “Intelligent infrastructure solutions enable our clients to respond to changes in the marketplace, build better experiences for their customers, and bring new products to market faster.”

The reports and PEAK Matrix assessments provide businesses with a framework to measure the relative market impact and capabilities of service providers around the world.
