In a Macon, Ga., restaurant a mother and son got into an altercation with two Black service women.
It all started when the two parties spat over the same parking spot. The argument made its way inside the Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen Restaurant where white 71-year-old Judy James Tucker and her son Robbie Tucker started to verbally harass the two uniformed veterans, calling them “Black lesbian bitches” and telling them to learn how to park. Patrons of the Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen began to capture the confrontation on cell phone video. It showed that the mother and son seemed to have been the aggressors. Despite this, Tucker seemed to think this was a case of reverse racism. However, it was Tucker who struck Sharpe.
“With all the lunging and slapping happening, it was never shown through cell phone video that Mrs. Mitchell or Mrs. Sharpe did anything wrong,” the incident report said, CBS Macon affiliate WMAZ-TV reports. Upon being slapped Mrs. Sharpe told Tucker she was pregnant. Her son interjected “Oh really, by her”
According to witness LaKeycia Ward the Tuckers got mad when the two servicewomen didn’t wait for them to back into a handicapped parking spot, instead skirting around them. Ward put the video on YouTube and made the following remark:
This Gentleman & his mom was hostile about the two soldiers not waiting for them to reverse back into there handicap parking spot for her handicapped husband instead they went around and proceeded to park in there own separate parking spot. . So he then followed them inside the restaurant being verbally abusive calling them black lesbians shouting ” the military lets lesbians serve So at that point i start recording & heres the VIDEO.
Judy Tucker was charged with battery and released on $650 bail. After a video of the incident went viral she was banned from eating at Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen Restaurant, which issued a statement saying, We were appalled by the behavior of the individuals who confronted the two female service members. Such behavior flies in the face of our values and those individuals are no longer welcome in our restaurant.”
