Working as a woman in tech can have its challenges, especially since the industry is still male-dominated. 

Though women make up half (50%) of all U.S. workers in STEM occupations, according to research, however, Black and Hispanic workers continue to be underrepresented in the STEM workforce. Black professionals represent only 9% of STEM workers, while Hispanics represent only 7%.

Research has also found that women professionals are also underrepresented in engineering (14%), computer (25%) and physical science (39%).
