I am in federal government service. The younger workers are being catered to while the older more experienced staff are put out to pasture after “training” these young staffers who end up in positions supervising you! Positions that should be for the experienced more senior staff are downgraded thus eliminating the older worker. Another form of discrimination. These young folks don’t want to “pay their dues” , they want everything served to them on a platter, on their terms. This will backfire in the long run.

This is a good thought however, I am an older workers and have lost jobs positions or opportunities due to firms wanting younger workers for various reasons. I as am an older worker have experienced many things such as isolation but at times it was due to workers insecurities about themselves and their own capabilities. I am highly educated and skilled but have been overlooked due to my education level and mostly age. So what can you prescribe to me.
