Michael Richards, best known for his role as Kramer on the hit TV show "Seinfeld," is in hot water after launching into a racist rant during his Friday-night performance at a Los Angeles comedy club. Click here to see CNN's video on this or click here to see the original one, which contains offensive language.
After a group of black men near the stage told him he wasn't funny, Richards digressed into a three-minute racist tirade, referencing mid-1960s lynching and using the N-word five times in a matter of seconds. He then dropped his microphone and left the stage, only to return 24 hours later with no explanation, reports CNN.
Richards apologized for his remarks but would not tell CNN to whom he made amends. He refused to appear on camera.
