Transgender Man Is Pregnant Again

Thomas Beatie, the transgender man who created a media storm with his first pregnancy last spring, is pregnant again, reports ABC News. Beatie made the announcement during an interview with Barbara Walters, his first since giving birth to a daughter in June.
"I feel good," Beatie said in an appearance on "20/20" with his wife, Nancy Beatie. "I had my checkups … and everything is right on track."
Beatie became the center of a media frenzy after announcing his first pregnancy and releasing photos that showed him with a beard and a pregnant belly. Beatie, who has been living quietly with his wife in Oregon since the birth of their first child, said he was shocked by the media attention.
"I mean, it was on Chinese web sites and web sites in Romania and Russia and Brazil," said Beatie.
The couple's second child is due on June 12.
