Elsie Y. Cross Associates, Inc. partners with senior executives, managers and employees of client organizations to institute comprehensive and strategic change that ensures the integration of all marginalized groups into the workforce -- people of color, white women, gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender employees, and people who are different by ability, age, religion or ethnicity. We provide ongoing organization consultation and design educational training programs that meet the specific needs of each client.

Our strategies for change include partnering with the client to institute long-term culture change that raises individual and group level awareness, reshapes organizational policies, and implements procedures and systemic practices. We are known for our unique work focusing on systemic change aimed at achieving fairness and equity for all employees while enhancing organizational productivity.

We also assist organizations in hiring, developing and promoting people who have traditionally been denied equal opportunity. Our consulting leverages the internal change processes that realign internal and external relationships. These improve the equitable implementation of policies and procedures.

We believe that our success rests upon our continued ability to articulate our core values: integration vs. assimilation or accommodation; belief in the equality of all persons to develop their highest potential; that power is not a zero sum game but can be shared; and that the struggle for consensus reflects the best attempt at survival.
