ASCENT is a national, not-for-profit organization committed to the professional development and corporate career advancement of multicultural women. Our scope is genuinely multicultural, encompassing white women and immigrants from other world cultures as well as African-Americans, Latinas, Asian-Americans, Native Americans and Muslim women.

Through education, corporate partnerships, and research, ASCENT helps multicultural women overcome professional challenges and corporations build representation of these women at all managerial and executive levels.

ASCENT was created by Ella L.J. Edmonson Bell PhD, noted scholar, author, and thought leader on the career experiences of multicultural women. Bell frequently serves as consultant to Fortune 500 companies and is associate professor at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, which partners with ASCENT in developing its educational programs.
