Diversity Strengths: Thirty-four percent of its U.S. managers were Black, Asian, Latino or Native American, compared with a 25 percent average for the Top 50. Twenty-two percent of its senior managers also were Black, Asian, Latino or Native American, compared with a 14 percent average for the Top 50.

Globally, values are extremely important. Citi published its Statement on Human Rights in January 2007 to communicate its values to all employees worldwide and in every country where it does business.

All benefit as our business is attuned to developing and delivering innovative products and services relevant to our ever-changing global and very diverse marketplace."

Ana Duarte McCarthy, Chief Diversity Officer: "We have created and continuously foster multiple diversity forums, including more than 90 employee networks and women's councils globally to drive our strategy. Citi benefits from the active engagement of employees and executives in meaningful dialogues on issues important both to our organization and our clients. Our annual employee survey provides feedback to keep us on track."
