Diversity Strengths: CEO Raymond F. McCaskey has been a long-time diversity champion. He has a personal quote about diversity on the web site and signs off on executive compensation tied to diversity.
The company also gets a perfect score on diversity training and has unbiased retention in both the work force and management (meaning retention is level across race/ethnicity and gender).
The results of these efforts are reflected in the numbers. The company's work force is 35 percent Blacks, Latinos, Asian Americans and Native Americans, and 37 percent of new hires are from those racial/ethnic groups.
