Which Companies Are Tops for Black, Latino, Native American Interns?
Who are the top 10 corporate clients for INROADS, the organization that provides so many talented black, Latino and Native American interns for corporate "These companies have demonstrated an earnest commitment to the education and professional training of hundreds of ethnically diverse college students by embracing them into their corporate culture through INROADS Internships," said Charles Cornelius, INROADS president and CEO, in a statement. No. 1 on the list was United Technologies Corp. (UTC) and its business units (Carrier, Hamilton Sundstrand, Otis Elevator, Pratt & Whitney, Sikorsky, UTC Power, and UTC Fire & Security). UTC has been an INROADS sponsor for 20 years and consistently sponsors hundreds of interns to work each summer. This year, UTC employed 214 INROADS Interns, more than any other corporate sponsor. Additionally, UTC converted 54 percent of the company's INROADS Interns into full-time employees. Who else was on the list? All of the major accounting firms, to start.
