Who are the top 10 corporate clients for INROADS, the organization that provides so many talented black, Latino and Native American interns for corporate America? Three of them are also on The 2007 DiversityInc Top 50 Companies for Diversity list and one is on the 25 Noteworthy Companies list.

"These companies have demonstrated an earnest commitment to the education and professional training of hundreds of ethnically diverse college students by embracing them into their corporate culture through INROADS Internships," said Charles Cornelius, INROADS president and CEO, in a statement. "We are proud to have them as our partners. The INROADS Top 10 Clients are not only leaders among our clients, but they are models for all American corporations."

No. 1 on the list was United Technologies Corp. (UTC) and its business units (Carrier, Hamilton Sundstrand, Otis Elevator, Pratt & Whitney, Sikorsky, UTC Power, and UTC Fire & Security). UTC has been an INROADS sponsor for 20 years and consistently sponsors hundreds of interns to work each summer. This year, UTC employed 214 INROADS Interns, more than any other corporate sponsor. Additionally, UTC converted 54 percent of the company's INROADS Interns into full-time employees.

Who else was on the list? All of the major accounting firms, to start. Here's the list: PricewaterhouseCoopers, No. 12 on the Top 50; Deloitte & Touche, No. 19 on the Top 50; Target Corp.; Ernst & Young, No. 43 on the Top 50; MetLife, one of DiversityInc's 25 Noteworthy Companies; Lockheed Martin Corp.; Liberty Mutual Group; KPMG; and Pfizer.
