The Great Class Divide in the Black Community Nearly 40 percent of low-income blacks say they have little to nothing in common with middle-income and poor blacks, according to a new poll by released by the Pew Research Center, which indicated work ethic and education are among the leading factors creating a class divide within the black community, reports National Public Radio.
