Andrea Agnew was named director of diversity inclusion for Comcast. Comcast is No. 48 on The DiversityInc Top 50 Companies for Diversity list.

Agnew will be responsible for developing strategies and building programs to enhance Comcast's human-resources diversity strategy. She will work to integrate diversity and equality practices into employment and workplace practices. In addition, she will work to develop diversity-training collateral and diversity presentations.

Agnew joined Comcast in 2006 as the manager of recruiting and career development. Comcast selected her to participate in the Urban League of Philadelphia's Urban Leadership Forum, which is designed to train blacks in leadership.

Before she joined Comcast, Agnew worked with Booz Allen Hamilton, where she was the corporate diversity-recruiting manager.
