American Express and Budget Rent-A-Car partnered together to help the After-School All-Stars (ASAS) programs. Every time a client pays for a Budget car rental with an American Express card, the company will donate $1 to ASAS, the nation's biggest provider of after-school mentoring programs. Its mission is to keep students safe.

American Express is No. 23 on The 2007 DiversityInc Top 50 Companies for Diversity® list.

MetLife Foundation and Civic Ventures are helping 10 U.S. community colleges train baby boomers for new careers with a donation of $25,000 in grants to each participating college. The colleges will use the grants to help educate in the fields of social services, health care and education.

The contributions will support those in their 50s and 60s willing to make a transition to teaching careers, nursing or nonprofit organizations.

MetLife is No. 5 in the DiversityInc Top 10 Companies for Asian Americans and is one of the 25 Noteworthy Companies.

ING, in partnership with Live Nation, will sponsor a series of concerts to benefit a fitness program for Latino youth, featuring Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony. The events will be held in 14 cities across the nation. The tour will sponsor the ING Run for Something Better Program, dedicated to improving young Latinos' fitness health across the nation. For every ticket purchased for the event, the ING Run for Something Better Program will receive a $1 contribution.

Run for Something Better is a school-based program created by ING to help stamp out obesity among Latino children. The program is also designed to teach children about physical fitness and the advantage of running and living a healthy lifestyle.
