Diversity Strengths: Chairman and CEO Robert Lufrano meets regularly with employee-resource groups (70 percent of the Top 50 do this). Twenty-eight percent of managers are people of color (the Top 50 average is 25 percent). The company allocates 50 percent of its philanthropic efforts to ethnic and GLBT charities (the Top 50 average is 33 percent). And 14.3 percent of its procurement goes to minority- and women-owned suppliers (the Top 50 average is 9.7 percent).
