TD Wealth Hires James Nesci as Head of National Sales

TD Wealth Private Client Group has appointed James (Jim) Nesci as Senior Vice President, Head of National Sales, reporting to Peter Mottek, Executive Vice President and Head of U.S. Wealth. He will be based in New York, NY and in Cherry Hill, NJ.

Prior to joining TD Bank, Nesci most recently served as Executive Vice President, Provident Bank and President, Beacon Trust based in Morristown, NJ. During his time at Provident, he successfully led efforts to build the wealth management and private banking functions available today at Beacon Trust. Nesci spent 11 years at Wilmington Trust before joining Provident Bank.

“Jim has a long track record of success across the banking industry and understands how to build and develop winning strategies and teams,” said Mottek. “He is passionate about delivering best-in-class wealth management and financial planning to customers and will be an asset to the team as we continue expanding our presence in the U.S.”

As Head of National Sales, Nesci will be accountable for growing the U.S. wealth business and deepening customer relationships. In addition, he will oversee the development and strategy of the advisor program and work closely with marketing and product teams to develop, support and promote TD Wealth’s goals-based advice offerings including investment management, trust and estate planning and private banking.

Nesci holds a bachelor’s degree from Hofstra University and Master of Business Administration degrees from Columbia Business School and London Business School. He resides in Morris County, NJ, with his family.
