TD Brings Change to Honor, Support U.S. Veterans

In honor of U.S. veterans, TD Bank (No. 39 on Fair360, formerly DiversityInc’s Top 50 Companies list) will partner with 26 local veterans’ organizations from Maine to Florida as part of its Bring Change campaign. The mission of TD Bank’s first themed Bring Change initiative is to help former military and service members transition into housing, receive mental health services, get support for disabilities and address other pressing issues.

TD will invite the public to participate in a total of 120 local community fundraisers from Nov. 1 to 18, where TD will start the contributions with a $5,000 donation to each organization.

“TD values and respects the dedication, commitment and sacrifice our veterans have made to support our country,” said Matthew Verney, chair of the Metro PA NJ Veteran Business Resource Group, TD Bank.

The Bring Change campaign provides support for issues like homelessness, food shortages and services for those with special needs. Since May 2015, more than 500 local organizations and individuals have benefited through the campaign, receiving more than $1.3 million in donations.

“Through our Bring Change campaign, we have an amazing opportunity to work with local organizations to improve the lives of our veterans,” said Verney.
