PwC Launches Fit for Growth Performance Analytics for SAP Digital Boardroom

Working closely with SAP to build on the newly launched SAP Digital Boardroom, PwC (No. 5 on the Fair360, formerly DiversityInc Top 50 Companies list) announced the release of PwC Fit for Growth Performance Analytics (FFGPA) app.

PwC’s Fit for Growth Performance Analytics (FFGPA) is a business app that allows accessibility to information in a real-time, anytime and anywhere fashion. PwC designed an analytical approach, which filters and prepares data to assess values gained from model development, and develops and calibrates system-specific event models for predicting delays. The app leverages and normalizes data from 2,000 public and private companies with public debt across 130 industry sub-segments to give users an outside-in look as to how their company is performing against their peers.

“PwC is very excited to be on the forefront of co-developing industry solutions with SAP in the Digital space,” said Rodney Seligmann, PwC Global SAP Alliance Leader. “These Analytic Apps help to position our clients to unlock their data possibilities and drive competitive advantage through analytics.”

The FFGPA is particularly useful for predictive maintenance in capital intensive industries like airlines and utilities, among others. In these sectors, where many different machines and automated parts come together to create a service or a product, there is much to keep running and much that can go wrong, causing delays and lost revenue. With FFGPA, these companies now have the ability to look at the maintenance records of their assets and proactively understand what issues they may face in the future. This can result in increased productivity, which is a big driver of bottom line results for these companies

“Today’s executives need real-time analytics, geared towards end-to-end corporate performance management,” said Stefan Sigg, senior VP, SAP Analytics Development. “Analytics, which help them plan and steer their enterprises, intelligently suggest course of action, allow for multiple real-time simulations and collaboration, and surface the state of their business at various points in time on various levels of detail. PwC has developed an analytics app for SAP Digital Boardroom designed to provide executives an expanded view of key metrics and their impact on industry performance.”
