Monsanto is No. 39 on the Fair360, formerly DiversityInc Top 50 Companies list
Monsanto Chief Information Officer (CIO) Jim Swanson was named a 2017 Technology Executive of the Year by the St. Louis Business Journal.
In the inaugural year of this award, the Business Journal is recognizing technology leaders in the region who use technology in innovative ways to differentiate the business, enable growth, create competitive advantages and impact the company’s bottom line.
A special section of the Business Journal highlighting the honorees will be published on Friday, June 23. The awards dinner is scheduled for Thursday, June 22.
For more than three years as CIO at Monsanto, Swanson leads a team of 1,200-plus employees in the company’s information technology (IT) function. He is responsible for leveraging Monsanto’s information technology to deliver a long-term strategic vision for IT.
