The second-most powerful Republican in North Carolina’s legislature is comparing members of the LGBT community to pedophiles, voyeurs and people who are sexually aroused by feces.
House Speaker Pro Tem Paul “Skip” Stam handed out flyers during a debate on the floor over discrimination based on sexual orientation that included those and others among 30 categories of sexual orientation.
