Kaiser Permanente's Wendy Lee Named Among the Top 50 Most Powerful Women in Technology by National Diversity Council

OAKLAND, Calif. This month, Kaiser Permanente Senior Vice President Wendy Lee was honored as one of thetop 50 most powerful women in technologyby the National Diversity Council. The award recognizes prominent leaders in the industry who have reached the top of their profession by driving innovation and inspiring others to succeed while contributing to business growth.


Lee co-leads the development of Kaiser Permanente’s consumer digital strategy and is working closely with innovators inside and outside the organizationincluding several Silicon Valley tech leadersto develop technologies, products, and services that will improve the total health of Kaiser Permanente members.

“I’m honored to be included in such an influential group of women in technology,” Lee said. “Diversity is critical for a high-achieving organizationit breeds a more inclusive, productive culture, which ultimately drives innovation and service and quality excellence.”

In addition to her role leading an organization of more than 1,800 people, Lee serves on Kaiser Permanente’s National Supplier Diversity Council, which oversees the commitment to minority business development, the organization’s minority purchases and sponsorships of minority programs. She also serves as the lead sponsor of the organization’s millennial and veterans’ programs.

The awards will be presented to the winners at a dinner reception on October 13, 2016.
