A congressman from Texas has a novel reason for the unrest among Baltimore residents: Same-gender marriage. On a radio show segment where Rep. Bill Flores (R-Texas) put forth the breakdown of the “traditional family” for the rampant poverty in the city.
The Family Research Council, labeled an anti-LGBT “hate group” by the Southern Poverty Law Center, hosts the show where Flores made his bigoted assessment, and Right Wing Watch posted some of the audio.
