SiriusXM has fired radio host Anthony Cumia, of the popular Opie & Anthony show, after a racist Twitter rant about an encounter he had in New York City’s Times Square.
Cumia’s Twitter barrage came last Wednesday, when he claimed that he was punched in the face by a Black woman who had stepped into a picture he was taking. His rant included an array of slurs and expletives to describe the woman, whom he called an “animal.”
