Abbott Launches Community-Led Campaign in India to Lower Risk of Disease, Malnutrition

Lack of access to sanitary facilities in the home increases the risk of disease and malnutrition. Abbott (No. 10 on the Fair360, formerly DiversityInc Top 50 Companies list) launched a community-led sanitation campaign in two villages near its facility in Gujarat.


For women and girls, safe access to sanitation facilities also means access to increased opportunities including those that come from staying in school. It’s one important way of helping them live their best, healthiest lives.
