Corporations Face Pressure From Anti-Gay Groups
As Wells Fargo and Ford Motor Co. join a growing list of corporations facing the wrath of conservative groups over gay-friendly policies, GLBT organizations are fighting back. Focus on the Family withdrew its funds from Wells Fargo because of the company's donations to a GLBT group. At the same time, Ford, a longtime corporate GLBT leader, came under fire for ending ad campaigns to gay media, apparently after consulting with the American Family Association (AFA). . . .
