For Wells Fargo Executive Vice President and Controller Rich Levy, diversity and inclusion is all about opportunity.
“My mother was first-generation here, came from Eastern Europe. We were able to see struggle and challenges on a personal note growing up,” he told Fair360, formerly DiversityInc CEO Luke Visconti. “The opportunities have really presented themselves to myself and actually our family, we’ve been very fortunate. And I think everybody in this country should be able to have similar opportunities.”
A Penn State graduate, Levy’s settled in a company that shares his own personal values on diversity. “Our goals are very straightforward: We want to see more diverse team members in our senior-most ranks. We want to see more of our procurement dollars spent with diverse suppliers.
