Global Marketing Leader, Women’s Health Fertility Franchise

Sheri Humphrey is the Global Marketing Leader for the Fertility Franchise at Merck and Company. In this role, Sheri is responsible for collaborating with her commercial and clinical colleagues and leading development of short and long term market and scientific strategies for Puregon®, Orgalutran® and Elonva®. This position also includes managing financial and tactical resources for the Fertility Franchise, and collaborating with Merck Manufacturing to ensure supply chain objectives are achieved around the world.
Prior to this role, Sheri was the Customer Business leader in Global Marketing Communications where her teams were responsible for development of physician and consumer promotion related to the Primary Care, Women’s Health and Diversified Brands Business Units within Merck’s Global Human Health Division. The rest of her career includes roles in Marketing, Market Research and analytics, Sales Management and Sales Training.
Sheri has been in the Pharmaceutical Industry for 25 years, the last 17 of which have been with Merck and Company. She has a reputation of being a role model who combines strong strategic thinking and superb people manager skills.
She excels at building diverse, high performing teams that drive business results and is known for her strong support in developing diverse talent. Additionally, Sheri has been a champion supporting Merck’s commitment to address patient wellness and education in order to address Healthcare Disparities, especially through her Marketing Communications roles.
This inspirational leadership, drive towards business results, strong support of diverse people and thoughts, and respect from her colleagues around the world has resulted in Sheri receiving internal and external recognition from her peers. This was most recent in 2011-2012 where she was a Healthcare Businesswoman Rising Star.
Sheri is a native of Delaware and Graduate of the University of Delaware with a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences.
