		<description><![CDATA[White is a racial classification dating back to 1785.  The definition evolved into a broad construct of peoples of Europe, North Africa and the Middle East and their descendants based on area regardless of pigmentation.  Nationalities (a construct of the 18th century) is another descriptor as is religion (or lack thereof).  People self identify and after all, isn&#039;t that what all of these classifications are about?!  Self identification reflects the descriptors that are important to the individual.]]></description>
