Luke,
Much has been written on this topic; your article is by far one of the best I've read, both in your discussion of "business rules" around values and fairness, and advice to those who struggle personally with conflict between business and personal values.
Thank you for an insightful and refreshing read on the subject.

Luke,
Once again you have demonstrated the courage of your convictions and a strong sense for consistently identifying right from wrong. I continue to admire you as a man of principle and pray that GOD will hold you close as you do his bidding on earth.

Fraternally,
Paul G. Patton, Colonel, USAF (Ret;.)

Luke

Good piece. I agree with every one of your points. As a late 1960's activist, I always found it strange that progressive thinkers could separate movements and be passionate about one and not another. The civil rights movement was never connected to women's rights. And of course, rights for LGBT citizens are still being challenged. People with conviction know that fairness and equity is a belief that must be applied to all people all.the time.

Someone at Rutgers once said to me..."your problem Carl, is that you expect people to be fair and honest." I said, " thanks for the compliment."

Best

Carl
