that is wonderful, i'm happy to work for a company that can see the quality of a person instead the color of their skin.

I am living example of how diversity is practiced in letter and spirit at Novartis. I am from Asian background, representing Pakistan, belonging to a minority religion and here I am at Novartis headquarters Basel, which clearly symbolises the "sould of the organization: Embracing diversity and inclusion as a business enabler, celebrating differences – sustaining growth.

Even though the FAQ stated that advertisers get no special consideration, is it still a coincidence that the top nine are sponsors of the site? Or were they invited to be site sponsors when told of their high ranking?.
There are six companies on this list that do no business with us at all. Further, I don't know a single person at HSBC - have no relationships at General Mills or JP Morgan Chase - but those companies did just fine in this competition - because their results earned them a spot on our list. Our methodology is baked into SPSS software and the data is run through our process without human intercession. We check results and ask for documentation - but having a business relationship is not a factor in our list.
There is a good business reason for a company to advertise their DiversityInc Top 50 accomplishments. Businesses look to do business with other companies that share their values - and businesses want to recruit the best and brightest. This is not uncommon - look other business magazines - or any consumer products magazine - competitive companies promote their message for their business benefit.
We should always be careful with correlations. For example, if you see a plane flying through a blue sky, it isn't the color blue which is attracting the plane. Luke Visconti, CEO of DiversityInc

It is gratifying to know that what we all know at Kaiser Permanente is recognized on the national level. We DO practice diversity on every level and have not only a Corporate Diversity Leadership but also Regional Diversity Programs. The company also believes in promoting the growth of diversity by implementing Diversity Leadership Programs. It is a program that I am fortunate enough to be involved in and I can assure everyone that KP promotes diversity!.
