Anthem has seen great success with its supplier diversity initiative, which the company describes as “one of the building blocks that support Anthem’s overall success.” Anthem has exceeded its goal and spend when it comes to supplier diversity ever since the inception of its supplier diversity initiative in 2005. Since then, spend with diverse-owned suppliers has grown more than 2,323 percent.
